IMO: You may want to brush up on the USDOJ website about the United States Microsoft antitrust case, every Windows user should. And when people bark to me about Windows being the most used OS and all that, read about the history of OEMs in regards to Microsoft, as it relates to the antitrust case.
There is nothing religious about this line of thought, but there's plenty of philosophy in it. Read about the GNU Philosophy.

Mark Shuttleworth is a hero with Ubuntu Linux, I can't stand Gates, some interesting stuff on Groklaw about him and Microsoft. I laughed my ass off when I saw the IMO terrible commercials with Jerry+Gates. It's Linux for me, no Microsoft and no Gates.
